In order to have the Nanoleaf Light Panels respond to sounds, such as music, Nanoleaf created the Rhythm Module. 

Unlike the Nanoleaf Light Panels, the Nanoleaf Canvas has the Rhythm module built in to the Control Square, which can be activated by pressing the music icon     located on the Control Square.

With the Nanoleaf App, you can select one of the pre-installed Rhythm scenes, download a new Rhythm scene or create your very own.

Each Rhythm scene responds to different frequencies of the sound and therefore creates different patterns, animations and colours on the Canvas squares.
