Aurora does not support Wifi passwords with special characters. Apple Home app or the Nanoleaf iOS app does not inform the user about this. If you are seeing error's like "Couldn't add Nanoleaf Aurora - Home couldn't connect to this accessory.", this could potentially be a culprit.

Hi Inam, Sorry you had such trouble but your technique is a good way to pair! Some of the newer Android phones have hardware which will automatically seek an Internet connection causing an issue with pairing. Allowing the connection Light Panels is a good technique to assist in pairing.

If you have any other questions in regards to setting up, please let us know in a support ticket!

I have tried everything, and still doesn't connect. I have iPhone 7 updated, I've reset, and done everything and still gives "Cloud Data sync" error. For something this simple and expensive there should be more and better videos online about this, I am quite disappointed how much time I've wasted trying to this to work. Any ideas?

Hi Ewald, I think the article you are looking for is here: https://helpdesk.nanoleaf.me/hc/en-us/articles/207230495, beyond that contacting Apple directly would be the best way as they have more visibility into HomeKit and iCloud.

Thanks, I have finally managed to get it sorted. But after lengthy resets, and spending most of yesterday. I feel its a cool product but for the price, maybe add some detailed troubleshooting instructional videos with your links. Its seems like a easy thing to do to avoid customer disappointment. Thanks

Funny thing is, I did everything your page suggest, and it didn't work, then after trying it a few times it just worked, so not sure what the correct answer is to fixing this.
