For those who have are trying to fill your entire wall squares, here are some tips which will allow you to best setup your panels. Please note that for each set of 25 panels added, you will need an additional power supply.
Start with a Plan
As most instances, start by determining the design you would like your Squares to look like. Once your design is complete you will need to consider how to connect each panel to the next. For best practices, it is recommended to place a row of root panels at the bottom of the layout and then extend the panels upwards from each root. This not only allows the panels to distribute the power more evenly, but the power supplies will likely be clustered around the bottom of the configuration. Implementing a snake-like layout where the interior is trapped is the worst case scenario for evenly distributing power.
Use the Heat Map
The heat map tool will be your best friend to determine where to place the Power Supplies on your layout. What the heat map does provide positions for where to place power supplies on your panels based on the layout. Initiate this mode by selecting the Brightness Up and Brightness Down buttons (+ and -) for 5 seconds. Squares which are blue indicate the optimal position to place the power supply. If that square is not accessible place the power supply wherever the white is brightest. Dark panels indicate a poor placement of the power supply.
Add More Panels
After implementing this with the first 50 panels, add the next 25 panels to the configuration. Once placed in your setup add the next power supply following the first 2 steps above. Stand alone power supplies are sold on our webstore here (coming soon).
