Help me! Error when pairing "Failed with osstatus code 5 (EIO)"
it was working fine when he suddenly disconnected and then i just did a soft reset. Then I went to pair but the error "Failed with osstatus code 5 (EIO)" appeared. So I tried a hard reset and when I tried to pair again the same error: Failed with osstatus code 5 (EIO)
Someone help me please!

Having the exact same issue here. I just received my panels today, fresh set. I'd been playing around with configurations, and found the signal was lost when I added more panels, so I reset every time I used a new configuration, and eventually (oddly enough when I got the configuration I actually wanted) I got this error and literally can't use the panels anymore...
Hope this gets a quick fix, I literally just got these and haven't even mounted them yet....

Adding my name to the list of users with this issue. I went to change my wifi settings and did a soft reset. When I try to repair, the panels blink green. Looking at my router settings, I see them attached to the network with an IP address. Unfortunately, the pairing never completes on my iphone X (with IOS 14) and gives me the same "Failed with osstatus code 5 (EIO)" error message.
Trying a hard reset yields the same behavior.

I figured this one out after a lot of googling and troubleshooting. After I changed my wifi configuration, my router picked a new channel, 3. The Nanoleaf documentation says that any channel other than 1, 6, or 11 can cause connection issues. I manually set my channel to 11 and tried again. This time it worked immediately on the first try and my "Failed with osstatus code 5" error is gone.
If any of you guys are still stuck, please give it a try.
