How-to: Enable Matter <> SwitchUpdated a month ago

⚠️Matter functionality is currently in early access. 
Ensure your smart home ecosystem supports Matter and that your devices are compatible.

Using Matter with your Switch allows you to use it to control or trigger other devices/routines in your smart home ecosystems.

To enable Matter functionality on your Nanoleaf Sense+ Wireless Switch, follow these steps:

1. Open the Nanoleaf app, navigate to the  ••• More tab to locate the Control Group settings.
2. Select the Control Group containing the Switch you want to configure to enable Matter, and select the Switch.
3. Enable Matter for a Side Button and decide whether to enable it for the left or right side button.
4. Pair with Your Smart Home Ecosystem: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your switch with your preferred smart home ecosystem (e.g., Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings).
5. Configure in Your Smart Home App: After pairing, configure the Matter-enabled side button directly within your smart home ecosystem's app to control devices or trigger routines.
