How to invite users to your HomeKit homeUpdated 3 years ago

You can invite other users through their iCloud account to use your HomeKit accessory.

In the Nanoleaf app:

1. Go to settings → Manage Users → Invite People
2. Enter the iCloud address of the person you want to add to your home.
3. Press add in the top right corner of the screen.
4. On their device, press the Accept button on the banner (or go to Settings → HomeKit if they miss the banner).

In the Settings app:

1. Open the Settings app on your device.
2. Scroll down to and select the HomeKit tab.
3. Tap on the home you wish to add the user to.
4. Tap Invite People.
5. Enter the iCloud address of the person you want to add to your home.
6. Press add in the top right corner of the screen.
7. On their device, press the Accept button on the banner (or go to Settings → HomeKit if they miss the banner).
