There are three (3) motion sensor modes on the Sense+, and here's what each does:

ON | The Motion Sensor can be turned back on by pressing the ON or OFF buttons. The Sense+ Switch will flash green.

PAUSED | The Motion Sensor can be temporarily paused by long pressing on the ON or OFF button. The Sense+ Switch will flash magenta.

OFF | Only available in the Nanoleaf app. This will disable motion sensor completely.
