Troubleshooting: Lights on Different ChannelUpdated a month ago
Riding the Litewave
- The Nanoleaf Sense+ Wireless Switch uses Litewave technology to communicate with compatible Nanoleaf devices.
- Litewave channels are also shared with your Thread devices.
It is crucial that the switch <> products are on the same channel.
Here's what to do if your lights are on a different channel:
Steps to Check and Match Channels
- Go to the "My Devices" screen under the (•••) “More” tab in the Nanoleaf App and select the switch.
- Click on Settings for the selected Switch.
- Note down the channel number for your Nanoleaf Sense+ Wireless Switch in the "About" section.
- Repeat the same for your other lights.
Channel Adjustment
You'll need to reset and pair again to switch channels on the following:
- Thread-enabled Nanoleaf Essentials
- Light Panels/Decor Devices
Once you complete the reset and pair again, the app will ensure that the new channel for your devices matches the Nanoleaf Sense+ Wireless Switch.
NOTE | Wi-Fi enabled Nanoleaf Essentials can switch channels without needing a reset.
If you continue to have trouble and your devices still don't match the Sense+ Wireless Switch channel, please contact Nanoleaf Support by submitting a ticket through the app: More > Customer Support > Submit Support Ticket.
